This is a beautiful photo of a giant American flag in Arizona.
The photo is authentic, untouched, and was taken on regular Kodak 35 mm film.
The person who took the picture couldn't believe the image created by the sun's rays.
Nice of them to share it with the world!

Abe Lincoln Statue - Julia Davis Park, Boise, Idaho

Artists Names: Gotzon Borglum (He also sculpted Mt. Rushmore)
Irene Deely, helped finish the statue and brought this statue to Boise

It is so amazing to me that the City Counsel of Boise voted 7 to 3 to remove the Ten Commandments monument out of Julia Davis Park. The three that voted against moving the monument were Bible believing people. The monument was there for almost thirty years. Two wonderful artists then put Abe Lincoln's statue in. Abe lived by the Ten Commandments and the Bible. Lincoln had no formal education. He only studied the Bible and many law books which were all founded on the laws in the Bible - The Ten Commandments.

This is a very appropriate location for Abraham Lincoln's statue and this may heal the wound of The Ten Commandments ripped out of this park several years ago.
Chuck Seldon

We want to give special credit to the Boise City Department of Arts & History
for bringing this statue to our beautiful park.

He is the only one that can save this country and they want him removed from the government.
Our great nation will not stand if we delete HIM from all aspects of our government as the atheists want.

Friends who had visited Normandy tried to prepare us for the experience. The monuments and museums commemorate the D-Day allied forces landing on June 6, 1944. Walking on the same sand on Omaha Beach that so many Americans lost their lives during that historic battle in the village of Arromanches was beyond words. Seeing our American Flag prominently displayed with those of other nations in a foreign country took my breath away, especially with recent turmoil around the world.

The rain during our visit seemed appropriate, somber and somehow respectful. Entering the D-Day Museum I looked up to see a life-size paratrooper model overhead suspended from his parachute. Glass cases preserve diagrams of the battle plan and military equipment. Our tour guide gave us an informative history of the planned and actual phases of the landing.

We were ushered into the theater where we saw the same jittery black and white newsreels that were shown to the folks back home—their only way to keep track of what “our boys” were facing an ocean away from home.

Paratroopers had signaled each other upon landing with “Clickers”. We had seen them used in “Band of Brothers” when we prepared for the trip. We found one for sale at the tiny souvenir shop next to the museum. An important piece of history, we wanted to bring one home—should have gotten two so we can signal each other to remember.

French people we talked with on the beaches thanked us for saving their country. We hadn’t expected that, but it touched our hearts. I said a silent, tearful prayer of thanks in honor of my late father who survived that operation, but wouldn’t talk about it.

The Germans had commandeered all the harbors, but innovative British engineers designed and built a brand new harbor out of hollow concrete boxes, which they floated across the channel behind ships. First, they sunk old ships as the foundation, and then the concrete boxes settled on top of the ships. Seawater filled the boxes, sinking them and keeping them in place for nearly 60 years for us to see today. With this fabricated harbor, the Allies were able to protect the beach and get supplies to the troops.

The American Cemetery at Omaha Beach was our next stop. A special ceremony was held for our group on the beautiful memorial plaza before a stunning 20-foot high statue of a young man reaching to the heavens. They played the Star Spangled Banner and Taps, and read the proclamation the French President had read during the dedication when the cemetery was finished in 1951.

The Viking River Cruise crew then gave each of us a rose and invited us to place it on a grave we chose to honor. We found one from Wisconsin and proudly embedded our rose, standing it at the foot of his cross. More tears… The rain gave way to a bitter wind reminding us that these soldiers faced much worse struggles on their way to victory.

The French used a small makeshift cemetery in the village to bury the American soldiers a short distance from the beach while they prepared the cemetery, which was finished in 1951. They then held the official dedication and moved them to their final resting places marked by the inscribed white crosses.

Names of many missing without identifiable remains are permanently engraved on a tall semicircular wall behind the plaza. The cemetery has a central reflecting pool flanked by rows and rows of white crosses bearing the name and home state of each fallen American soldier buried there. As our guide told us, the loss of 3000 men was tragic, but 35000 landed, and marked a turning point in the war—which we now understand in a new way.

School Shootings

It's Time To Post The Ten Commandments On School Walls Again!

What the Bible Says About School Shootings
By Betty Miller
Taken From BibleResources.org

School shootings have been making the headlines in the USA at an increased frequency. The latest shooting on December 14, 2012 grieved the nation, as authorities reported at least 27 people, including 20 children, were killed, when a gunman clad in black military gear opened fire inside a Connecticut elementary school. The killer then killed himself bringing the casualty count to a total of 28 human beings including the gunman, and his mother who he also shot. This latest tragedy is just one of a long string of senseless shootings.

Since 1996 there have been over 31 school shootings in the United States, with over 160 students, teachers/professors and others killed. In the rest of the world school shootings have occurred in Scotland, Yemen, Russia Sweden, Germany, Bosnia, Canada, Argentina and other countries, with the largest taking the lives of over 355 students.

Why so much violence among our young people? A Department of Education Survey which analyzed violence in U.S. schools reported that public schools nationwide experienced more than 12,000 fights in which weapons were used, 4,600 rapes and other sexual assaults and over 8,000 robberies. Other reports from Time and Newsweek magazines tell us the suicide rate among U.S. teens has risen 118% in the last 15 years while drug use has risen almost 90% since 1992. The Bible tells us about a time that these kinds of violent deeds and rebellious acts will be committed by children all over the world.

Prayer in US Schools Abandoned

The United States Supreme court made a terrible decision when they ruled to have prayer removed from schools in 1962. Statistics show that rebellion and violence have dramatically increased since that time. I believe this is another contributing factor to our children’s decline since then.

What Happened When the Praying Stopped

Specialty Research Associates, P.O. Box 397, Aledo, TX 76008, under the direction of Dr. David Barton, has released a report entitled, “America: To Pray or Not to Pray”, which uses over 100 pages of graphs and statistical analysis to prove that crime, venereal disease, premarital sex, illiteracy, suicide, drug use, public corruption, and other social ills began a dramatic increase after the Engel vs. Vitale Supreme Court decision was made in 1962 which banned school prayer. The rate of violent crime alone, has risen over 330 percent.

Summary of Why Children Become Murderers
  • Our national preoccupation with violence that has saturated all forms of the media which desensitizes human emotions by exposure to so much murder and preoccupation with death.

  • The absence of strong parenting due to the increase of both parents working. Also, the lack of a strong father figure in homes due to divorce rising.

  • Ignorance of Biblical truths that show parents how to deal with problem children. Parents don’t recognize that their children need deliverance from demonic influences. This is a spiritual problem and cannot be solved by just therapy or medication alone.

  • Lack of prayer for our youth in our homes and our schools. (Since prayer was removed from our schools in 1962 the rate of crime among our youth has escalated).

  • The influence of cultic and witchcraft practices in our society.

  • The failure of Christians to reach out to the misfits in our society with the gospel.

  • Lack of discipline with a permissive humanistic influence toward children.

  • Lack of teaching our children standards and absolutes as outlined in the Bible.

  • Lack of regard for human life as demonstrated through abortion, euthanasia and evolutionary teachings of the survival of the fittest.

  • The lack of teaching our children Biblical truths that promote character and teach them how to deal with the emotions of anger, hatred and revenge that lead to murder.

Eleven Days Before Christmas

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
When 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"This is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
When what to their wondering eyes did appear,
But Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
Then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
Those children all flew into the arms of their King
And as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
One small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
And as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
Then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
Then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"May this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
Then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"Come now my children, let me show you around."
Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
All displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
And i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"In the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

When You Are Being Tested

Pray for America

I am an Original Intent American Constitutionalist. I love the ideals upon which the United States of America was founded. Unfortunately, there are those who seek to scrap the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Amendments and control the citizens with a new Rule of Law. Please don't let the blessings and rights we were born with be taken away from those who will inherit this nation.
